“ We absolutely loved the food and the staff were fabulous. Some friends recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We went on a Sunday so that we could try the beef ribs and pastrami. They were both very tender and had a fantastic flavor. Also, it was a ton of food! We also ordered the okra, green beans and fries and all were very good (the okra was the star in my opinion). The staff brought over a sweet treat for my kids and they were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! ”

“ The BBQ Lab in Raleigh is absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked in, the service and hospitality were top-notch. Mr. Ike, Mr. Larry, and Ms. Mercedes made the entire experience unforgettable. Mr. Ike greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel right at home. Upon having questions about the different dishes not only did he give Stella recommendation but he also let me sample the brisket to Ensure it was just as good as he said it was! And he was 1000% correct !!! Mr. Larry clearly knows his craft— when I was joking about how I didn’t like the food he didn’t miss a beat by offering me something else and stating “we aimed for satisfaction “. Ms. Mercedes Who holds a higher up position definitely wasn’t afraid to great customers, pick up trash and sweep. I love upper management Isn’t afraid to get down and dirtyand take the responsibility/roles that other designated employees do. Overall, everyone demonstrated the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. The barbecue itself? Incredible. Tender, flavorful and easily some of the best in Raleigh. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff treats you like family, and the quality is consistently excellent. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. The BBQ Lab, along with Mr. Ike, Mr. Larry, and Ms. Mercedes, has definitely earned all five stars! ”

“ Very high quality BBQ restaurant! BBQ and sides are super tasty. The pulled pork is excellent, the brisket is a bit dry for my liking but still good, and the sides are wonderful. Brunswick stew, cornbread, Mac and cheese, and loaded fries are all fantastic. The Brunswick stew is especially good. ”

“ First time trying the sandwiches. The Judy was awesome. Saw it being made and ended up ordering one myself instead of my usual brisket as figured I should try something new as was using offline. It was amazing the turkey was so good and the sandwich was a nice combination of flavors and perfectly portioned. I’ll have to try the other sandwiches next time I go back ”

“ Had an absolutely delicious meal at The BBQ Lab in Raleigh! The burnt ends were incredibly flavorful—tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. Their pork ribs were the second best I’ve ever had, which says a lot considering how many BBQ spots I’ve tried. The sides didn’t disappoint either—the fried okra had a great crunch, and the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting. Surprisingly, their vegan burger was also spot on—a great option for non-meat eaters that didn’t feel like an afterthought. On top of the great food, the place was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving BBQ done right. ”
